ALL-STAR LEGACY PROJECT AT RHYNE PARK DETAILS ANNOUNCED
Joint partnership between MLB, Atlanta Braves, Cobb PARKS, and RPGSA brings major facility upgrades to Rhyne Park
Rhyne Park families, players, alumni, and community:
Earlier today, Major League Baseball (MLB), Atlanta Braves, Cobb PARKS, and Rhyne Park Girls Softball Association (RPGSA) officially announced the 2025 All-Star Legacy Project taking place at Rhyne Park.
The project broke ground on renovations in January of 2025. Since that time, Rhyne Park has received facility upgrades to three of the fields, both batting cages, and our overall grounds.
“Softball is quickly growing in our community with Rhyne Park seeing significant growth over the past 5 years,” said Geoffrey Schmidt, President of RPGSA. “This investment signifies the ability to support that growth while providing the best possible facilities to our athletes. Now is the best time to be an athlete at Rhyne Park! This project is transformational for our program. The league would like to send our sincerest gratitude to MLB, the Braves, Cobb PARKS, and our donors for this incredible investment in our athletes and community.”
RPGSA is proud to announce an additional $100,000 that has been dedicated towards the project through Rhyne Park’s Robin Scott Ray Improvement Fund. These dollars were raised by our amazing families and sponsors during fundraiser events over the past few seasons.
The All-Star Legacy Fields at Rhyne Park will be unveiled during a special parade and ceremony on Sunday, July 13, 2025. The parade starts at 11:30 a.m. with a ceremony to follow at 12:00 p.m. on Field 1. Current Spring 2025 and Renegades athletes are also invited to participate in sandlot-style games on the fields after the ceremony. Follow the link below to RSVP for that ceremony.
